Memories of our uncle Bob.

Created by Stuart one month ago
Are there enough words to pay tribute to my uncle Bob ? definitely not. Seemed an ever present in my life thru the 70's and 80's when our family seemed to spent what seemed 1 weekend a month with our uncle aunt and cousins in their Wembley home. To socialing at the tennis club to trips to Wembley Market. Nothing seemed a problem for uncle bob , always up to date with current trends,  music , sport. Always great fun, the proverbial life and soul of any party, memories of jiving with my mum and our aunt Rita...at the same time!!! And later dancing with my wife at some do who invariably could never keep up with him. In short uncle Bob was everything I wanted in an uncle. Even the time he laughingly said to me " you do know why your mum named you Stu don't you ?" ...no I said I don't, ...short for stupid said Bob. ....only Bob.
R.I.P uncle Bob we'll never forget you
